Mackayla Riter  - Undergraduate

I’m a third-year undergraduate student at the University of Utah studying Biology with a minor in Psychology. I joined the Bush/Clayton lab in Fall 2024 in order to gain hands-on research experience and pursue an Honors degree in Biology. I’m interested in learning about and contributing to avian biological research before I head off to dental school! In my free time, I like to volunteer at my local animal shelter and nature center, spend time with my family and friends, and take care of my houseplants. I also love to travel, and my favorite destination so far has been Stockholm, Sweden.
